Be Still I

Stillness can feel out of place in a world that promises fulfillment through striving—where having it all and becoming it all seems only a checklist away. It often appears like a mirage: just push harder, reach further, and someday you will arrive. Yet the quiet cost of this striving settles deep within the soul.
But for the Christian, the goal is not always arrival. It is relationship. A deep, abiding walk with Christ, one that satisfies the longing heart far more than any destination ever could. There is rest in remembering who God is. He is wholly capable of the impossible – the burdens we cannot lift, the paths we cannot see, the hard things we were never meant to carry alone. In the quiet, we are invited into rest: to be still, and to know that He is God. (Psalm 46:10)
